Brian McPeek
Global Permanence Fund Director
Brian is the Director of the Global Permanence Fund at ZOMALAB, leveraging his experience in nature conservation, non-profit leadership, business, and international relations to support philanthropists, NGOs, corporations, and investors in forging innovative strategies and partnerships for the enduring protection of nature and the prosperity of local communities worldwide.
Brian has a long history in the nature conservation community, serving as President and Chief Conservation Officer of The Nature Conservancy. Prior to joining TNC, Brian worked as a McKinsey consultant and as an intelligence officer in the US Air Force.

Abigail Baisley
Global Permanence Fund Program Manager
Abby is a Program Manager of the Global Permanence Fund at ZOMALAB, where she helps to develop and scale initiatives globally that support community economic development and protect nature.
Prior to the Global Permanence Fund, Abby worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey and Company supporting projects in nature conservation financing and mining operations, with a focus on implementation and procurement strategy.

Yasemin Emami
VCM+ Coalition Program Manager
Yasemin is a Program Manager for the VCM+ Coalition, working within the Global Permanence Fund at ZOMALAB. As part of the VCM+ Coalition team, she is working with partners in the space to build a more unified, trustworthy, and scalable carbon market.
Yasemin studied at Brown University and the United States Air Force Academy where she developed her passion for working with teams to create sustainable solutions. Prior to this role, she worked as a Senior Business Analyst at McKinsey and Company supporting organizations in the development and execution of strategic priorities and growth initiatives.

Blake McKinlay
Blake is the Director of Programs at ZOMA LAB where he guides the programmatic strategies across four issue areas and oversees the strategic direction of the foundation’s programs. He specializes in the development and execution of impact strategies, collaborative initiatives, and complex programmatic opportunities. Blake supported the creation and launch of Enduring Earth and is an advisor to the Global Permanence Fund.

Karina Gerstenschlager
Karina, as Program Lead, developed and scaled innovations that support community economic development( CED) and protect nature. She shaped the community economic development strategy of Global Permanence Fund, created a network of 50+ CED contacts and led a 30x30 collaboration workshop between Enduring Earth, SPACES, and Debt for Nature Coalition. Karina is currently on parental leave from ZOMA LAB.

Maurie Carr
Maurie supported the start up of Enduring Earth, a partnership focused on expanding the use of the Project Finance for Permanence (PFP) approach to enable conservation. After her time at GPF, Maurie became Deputy Managing Director for Enduring Earth, where she supports global conservation finance and strategic partnerships to accelerate durable conservation outcomes.

Julia Strong
Julia supported the incubation and launch of a VCM+ roadmap, a priority roadmap for the future of verified carbon markets globally, and founded the Symbiosis Coalition, an advanced market commitment backed by major companies to catalyze the supply of high-integrity nature-based carbon removal. After her time at GPF, Julia became the inaugural Executive Director of Symbiosis Coalition, where she continues to lead and expand the coalition's impact.

Braeden Mayer
Braeden supported the incubation and launch of the Symbiosis Coalition, Debt-for-Nature Coalition, and Enosis Capital. After his time at GPF, Braeden became a co-founder and partner at Enosis Capital, where he finds new deals and partnerships to further nature financing globally. Enosis Capital works closely with the Debt-for-Nature Coalition in managing the Debt-for-Nature Private Credit Enhancement Facility, which with a specific focus on the role that private-sector credit enhancement can play these transactions.

Madeleine Carnemark
While at GPF, Madeleine helped incubate and launch the VCM+ Coalition, a collective effort to reform and scale the next generation verified carbon market, as well as the Task Force for Corporate Action Transparency (TCAT), which develops shared frameworks and guidance to strengthen integrity and transparency in corporate GHG accounting and reporting. After leaving GPF, she assumed the role of Director of the VCM+ Coalition and serves as a technical lead for TCAT. Her work across both initiatives focuses on accelerating climate action and mobilizing capital through innovative climate and nature finance mechanisms.

Chad Martin
Chad provided project management and advisory to Enduring Earth initiatives worldwide to help professionalize the process of scoping, designing, and implementing PFPs. After his time at GPF, Chad became the Senior Project Manager for Enduring Earth and is now a Principal at Eide Bailly LLP leading their Global Transfer Pricing practice.
